NEW YORK: Multiplicity Workshop

I'm starting a DID/MPD self-help group, in addition to the New Landscape support group.

Right now, it's in the planning phases. Like this board, it will be more focused on sharing tools and resources than on discussing our past experiences (not that we *won't* discuss our past experiences, that just won't be the primary focus). Depending on who decides to join, we might also do some things for DID/MPD awareness (form a speakers group? make youTube videos? put on a musical?) and for building some social connections (have trips to the zoo or the amusement park? set up a game and toy exchange?).

Let me know if you live in the NYC area and are interested either in helping to organize the group, or in attending once it's up and running.

Update on this:

There will be a meeting of the DID/MPD workshop (or whatever the name changes into!) on Thursday, January 15, at 7 pm. This is in New York City, at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center. If you're in the NYC area and are interested, feel free to come to the meeting.

There will be a second meeting of the DID/MPD workshop on Thursday January 29th at 7 pm. It will most likely be at the LGBT Community Center again (I'll post here with another location if that one doesn't work out).
