The more slowly you move, the faster you go

This might not be true for everyone, but it's certainly true for me.

One of the things that drives me *crazy* (crazier!) with my therapist is that she is always telling me to go slowly, take my time, not rush things. And I'm like, "WHAT?!?!?! I have an AGENDA for my life, and this healing stuff is taking too much time!!!!"

But over the past 2 1/2 years, I really have noticed that the more slowly I take things, the faster I make progress. I don't quite know why, whether it's that it gives me time to actually fix what's going wrong, or whether it's that it helps to reduce opposition from other parts, or some other reasons entirely.

All I know is, the more slowly I move, the more progress I make.
